Grant Writing Workshop
As funding for non-profits, community-based organizations, universities and colleges continues to be cut, the need for skilled grant writers will only increase. The Grant Writing Workshop can benefit individuals seeking work in this growing field, as well as organizations who want to enhance the skill set of their staff.
Program Curriculum
The Grant Writing Workshop imparts the basic skills and knowledge necessary to create a successful grant funding plan. First, we help students understand and navigate the complexities of funding environments. Then we teach them how to view proposals and how funding decisions are made. The final step is learning to write effective, professional and marketable grant proposals, which includes being able to recognize common grant writing mistakes. By the end of the workshop, students will walk away with a draft grant proposal.
