Posted: March 28, 2016

Eli Kintisch, a science journalist specializing in climate change, will be on campus Monday, April 4, to visit three classes and take a tour of the farm.

In a half-day visit, Eli will meet with the Environmental Planning course taught by Holly Peterson, a journalism course taught by Jeff Jeske and an Introduction to Environmental Studies course taught by Bronwyn Tucker.

Since the spring of 2012, Guilford has joined Wake Forest and High Point universities in an educational consortium with the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting. Eli is the seventh center-supported expert to visit the Triad campuses.

Visiting Pulitzer Center journalists have included Cynthia Gorney, a contributing writer to The New York Times Magazine and National Geographic, and Jason Berry, an investigative journalist and Vatican expert.

Also as part of the consortium, three Guilford students have traveled abroad on reporting assignments as Pulitzer Center fellows.
