The annual Lincoln Financial Luncheon will be held at noon Wednesday, March 26, in the Community Center at Guilford College, featuring remarks by Craig Carlock, CEO of The Fresh Market, Inc.
Guilford students in business, economics and accounting, faculty and staff and members of the College’s volunteer boards will attend the event, which is presented by the Business Department and Board of Visitors and supported by a gift from Lincoln Financial Group.
Craig has served as president and chief executive officer of The Fresh Market, Inc. since January 2009 and as a member of the company’s Board of Directors since June 2012. He served as senior vice president and chief operating officer from January 2007 until January 2009.
He joined the company in 1999 and has held the posts of director of marketing, vice president of marketing and senior vice president of operations. Earlier in his career, he worked for six years at Procter & Gamble in a variety of finance positions. He received a master’s in business administration from the University of Virginia’s Darden School and a bachelor’s in economics from Davidson College.
