Just as your sons and daughters have joined the Guilford College Community, so have you! We invite you to join as active members of the Guilford community. Here are some ways you can get involved.
Family Leadership Council
Guilford College greatly values our parent(s) and the role they play in the lives of their students. The Family Leadership Council (FLC) is one way for families to stay involved with the Guilford community and their students. By joining the FLC, you will be provided an opportunity to share observations, make suggestions, or ask questions to upper administration and faculty members. As a committee member, you will have the ability to create a personal, peer-to-peer connection to Guilford for other families. Your contacts with other parents foster a relationship between them and the College that often lasts long after their child’s graduation.
Your participation will focus on two areas:
- First, we hope you will become an annual President’s Club donor to support the Guilford Annual Funds that enhance the total educational experience for your child and other students.
- Second, as a member of the council, you will have the opportunity to meet with other parents and members of faculty, staff, and College leadership in discussing how to best involve parents through Campus Life, Career Planning, Advancement, and Admissions Associates.

Admission Network
Parents all around the country have the opportunity to host a gathering for admitted students. This “meet and greet” is a great opportunity for current parents to meet with, and talk about Guilford, with prospective families. Guilford College has been hosting these unique events for the past two years with great success!
