Environmental Studies at Guilford College

Environmental Studies is an interdisciplinary program that emphasizes the relationship between humans and the environment. It allows students to study and address a fundamental issue of our times -- the quality of the Earth's environment and the sustainable use of its natural resources. The program's focus on justice, global awareness, service to the larger community, and the concept of Nature as sacred are in keeping with Guilford's five academic principles and its Quaker heritage.
