SPRING HOUSING INFORMATION: All Traditional students should follow the instructions on this web page. The online housing application for Spring 2010 will be available November 1, 2009. Guilford must have received your college deposit to be eligible to apply for housing. Late applicants are not guaranteed any special requests such as building, roommate preference and are not guaranteed housing.   1. Your Bannerweb student ID number and your PIN number are required. Students new to Guilford will receive their G# and PIN number via US mail

    1. Log into Banner Web (CLICK HERE TO ACCESS BANNER WEB)
    2. Click here for visual Step by Step Housing instructions if needed
    3. Click on Student & Financial Aid, then Housing, and finally Access Housing Application - you must agree with the housing contract to proceed. Complete the requested information and submit your application. If you do not receive a confirmation email, then go back and try to resubmit it. If you cannot go back into "My Housing Application," then it has been submitted correctly.
  2. NEXT: Once you have completed your personal preferences and submitted your application, go back into Housing in Banner Web and go to the "Access My Housing" section to complete your living (residence hall) preferences and meal plan. There should be a navigation bar on the left side of your My Housing Overview page to make hall and meal selections.

  3. YOU MUST SELECT A DINING OPTION IN "ACCESS MY HOUSING" AFTER YOU SUBMIT YOUR HOUSING APPLICATION. IF YOU DO NOT, YOU WILL RECEIVE THE QUAKER MAX PLAN AS DEFAULT. See additional spring housing information regarding meal plan selections.

  4. You may type in your roommate request on the Personal Preferences page on the Roommate Request line in "Access My Housing". You must give a person's first and last name. We cannot match with vague descriptions such as football player, musician, artist or soccer player. If there is a specific room number or apartment/suite that you want to request, there is also a line to type this information in.

  5. To change hall, personal or dining preferences go to "Access My Housing" which will allow you to make changes until December 15th. Once you have been housed, you may not make anymore changes unless deemed critically necessary by Residence Life.

ONLINE OFF CAMPUS APPLICATION: All traditional students (new, readmitted, transfers and those returning from abroad only) who do not currently live on campus and desire to live off campus must apply through Banner Web and complete the online Off-Campus Application. Approval is not guaranteed. The Off Campus Application will be available online November 1, 2009 and the deadline to apply for off campus is December 15th, 2009. Late applicants will receive a 25% reduction of merit aid if approved for off campus.
