Arts Festival Presents Joan Osborne Sept. 20
Seven-time Grammy nominee Joan Osborne will perform Friday, Sept. 20, at Dana Auditorium as the opening event in the 17 DAYS arts and culture festival in Greensboro.
Since the release of her 1995 breakout “Relish” – which included the hit “One of Us” – Osborne has toured extensively with her own band and as a member of The Grateful Dead. She appeared in the Grammy Award-winning documentary “Standing in the Shadows of Motown” and has shared the stage with Bob Dylan, Luciano Pavarotti, Stevie Wonder, Emmylou Harris and many others.
Tickets are on sale now online, at the Triad Stage Box Office or by calling 336-272-0160. Reserved orchestra and balcony level seats are $18 and general admission seats are $14.
17 DAYS festival is a collaborative fall schedule of 100-plus arts and cultural events coordinated by artsgreensboro and produced by dozens of independent presenters Sept. 20-Oct. 6. More information is available at 17DAYSGreensboro.org.
The concert will be held during Guilford’s Homecoming & Family Weekend Sept. 18-22.
