Catch College Comet Program April 14
This has been called the year of the comet, because at least two comets will be visible to the naked eye this year. Join the Physics Department for a multimedia presentation on comets at 8 p.m. Sunday, April 14, in the Frank Family Science Center.
The comet PANSTARRS was visible in the Northern Hemisphere last month, splashing a tail across the Western sky just after sunset. Later this year, the comet ISON might become the most dramatic comet to be seen in decades.
