Team Takes Part in Running of the Balls
More than 40 Guilford faculty, staff, friends and families participated in the Running of the Balls 5K on Sunday, Dec. 16.
The first annual run/walk in Greensboro’s Sunset Hills neighborhood raised $18,500 for Second Harvest Food Bank, an organization dedicated to reducing hunger and malnutrition.
The event is named for the lighted Christmas balls that residents of the neighborhood use to decorate trees in their yards. To see photos from the event, visit its Facebook page or the News & Record website.
