Guilford Shares Raises $22,017
Thanks to the generosity of faculty and staff, Guilford Shares has raised $22,017. Thirty-five percent of full-time employees donated.
Sponsored by President Kent John Chabotar, Guilford Shares is our annual giving campaign to support the environmental, arts, health, human and social resource needs of our community.
Since 2005 Guilford Shares has raised $201,895 and averaged 40 percent participation.
Three organizations are a part of the campaign: United Way of Greater Greensboro, Earth Share of NC and the United Arts Council of Greater Greensboro. Through this campaign, Guilford gives back to our community and makes a difference in countless lives.
The hard work of employees Fred Devine and tri-chairs Jerry Joplin, Sonya Mitchell and Brian Wenger helped make the campaign possible. Thanks to Follett for donating products from the bookstore for weekly prizes.
