174 Enrolled for January Term
When Guilford’s first January Term begins, 174 students will be taking part: Seventy-nine in on-campus seminars; 56 in study away, including 48 abroad; 25 in independent studies; and 14 in internships.
The session – Jan. 3-24 – kicks-off a three-year pilot period for the term, which is designed to offer innovative and experiential learning opportunities.
Thirty-four Guilford faculty members are involved as leaders, sponsors and mentors. Eight are engaged in on-campus seminars; four in study away; and 22 in independent studies and internships.
The College is offering 26 four-credit projects, nine three-credit projects, 12 two-credit projects, 10 one-credit projects and two projects for no academic credit.
