Damon Akins Writes Manifest Destiny Column

The column — History lesson in an offensive fashion design — uses the recent controversy over Greensboro native, Mark McNairy’s “Manifest Destiny” T-shirt for the Gap as a way to think about the importance of a deep commitment to a rich multicultural education in the state.
