Faculty Promoted
The Board of Trustees on Oct. 6 approved promotions for 10 faculty members.
Four faculty members were promoted from associate to full professor:
- George Xuezhi Guo, Political Science Department
- David P. Hildreth, Education Studies Department
- Steven S. Shapiro, Physics Department
- Lavon Williams, Sport Studies Department
Six faculty members were promoted from assistant to associate professor:
- Maria P. Bobroff, Foreign Languages Department
- Thomas H. Guthrie, Sociology/Anthropology Department
- Wendy S. Looker, Music Department
- William C. Pizio, Justice & Policy Studies Department
- Donald A. Smith, Physics Department
- Julie A. Winterich, Sociology/Anthropology Department
