George Guo Writes Book on ‘China’s Security State’
Associate Professor of Political Science George Guo has written a new book entitled “China’s Security State: Philosophy, Evolution, and Politics.”
Published by Cambridge University Press, the book discusses the security and intelligence agencies in China, looking at their creation and development. Moreover, it examines the influence that these agencies have held over the Chinese Communist Party during the party’s history.
By exploring leadership politics in China, it promotes understanding of the party’s means of controlling both party members and the general population.
