In an ever-changing economy, Guilford students have seen the benefits of having a strong foundation in writing and critical thinking, two focal points of the Guilford curriculum, as well as the importance of internships, study abroad, undergraduate research, and service work.. Our graduates are standing out among their peers, as evidenced by our 75% medical school acceptance rate (national average of 47%) and nearly 70% job placement rate within one year for the class of 2011 (national average of 55%).
