Roy Nydorf Featured in goTriad
Roy Nydorf, who has taught in the art department since 1978, is the subject of the cover story in the April 19 edition of goTriad, an arts and entertainment supplement to the News & Record.
Roy Nydorf | Four Decades, an exhibition of more than 200 works, opened Thursday at Green Hill Center for NC Art in downtown Greensboro and will remain on display through June 10. This is only the sixth time in the gallery’s 37-year history that it has honored an artist with a solo retrospective.
The exhibition provides an opportunity for the public to appreciate the enormous breadth and depth of Roy’s work. It provides the same opportunity for the artist himself.
“I am really looking forward to the opportunity to just go there and try to figure out where I have been, what I have done,” he told goTriad.
