Tickets on Sale for Talk by Historian David McCullough Feb. 28 in Winston-Salem
Tickets are on sale for a talk by noted historian and author David McCullough to be presented by Guilford College at Reynolds Auditorium in Winston-Salem Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 7:30 p.m.
McCullough is a two-time Pulitzer and National Book Award recipient and is best-known as author of the No. 1 best-sellers John Adams, Truman and 1776.
His latest book is The Greater Journey: Americans in Paris, which is the story of the adventurous American artists, writers, doctors, politicians, architects, and others of high aspiration who set off for Paris in the years between 1830 and 1900, ambitious to excel in their work.
He will discuss The Greater Journey and take questions from the audience during the Feb. 28 program, which is presented with support from BOOKMARKS Book Festival and WFDD-FM.
