Candidates for the Bonner Scholarships must demonstrate significant financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and must have participated in community service endeavors during the last three years of high school. Recipients are required to stay involved in community service throughout their four years of college to retain the scholarship. Prospective students applying for the Bonner Scholars program before January 1st should also submit the Guilford College Financial Aid Early Estimator Form. All applicants need to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) after January 1st.
