President’s Forum Oct. 25 Features Panel Discussion on Healthcare Reform
Guilford’s Board of Visitors will present the second President’s Forum, “Perspectives: A Practical Review of Healthcare Reform and its Effect on Business,” Tuesday, Oct. 25.
A panel discussion on the topic will include Lanier Cansler, N.C. Secretary of Health & Human Services, Terry Akin, chief operating officer of Cone Health, Anita Bachmann, vice president of regulatory affairs for United Healthcare, and Jeanine Falcon, vice president for human resources for Replacements, Ltd.
The discussion will be moderated by Justin Catanoso, director of journalism at Wake Forest University. President Kent Chabotar will offer welcoming remarks.
Board of Visitors members, community and business leaders and Guilford faculty, staff and students are expected to attend. The event will be at Proximity Hotel in Greensboro.
The Board of Visitors is a group of ambassadors for the College. It sponsors the annual Guilford Undergraduate Symposium as well as periodic forums on topics relevant to the business community and College constituents.
