Celebration of Life for Trustee Carole Hunter ’63 is Sept. 13
A Celebration of Life After the Manner of Friends for trustee Carole Hunter ’63 will be Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 2 p.m. at New Garden Friends Meeting.
Hunter, a Greensboro resident, died Sept. 8 after battling cancer. She joined the Board of Trustees in October 2008 and was board secretary at the time of her death. She served on Guilford’s Board of Visitors from 1995-2003. In May she received the College’s Alumni Excellence Award.
Hunter was a licensed physical therapist and a certified professional ergonomist. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biology at Guilford and a master’s degree in physiology/anatomy at Case Western Reserve University.
