Two Professors to Help Lead N.C. Academy of Science
Two faculty members in Guilford’s biology department have been elected to help lead the North Carolina Academy of Science, an organization promoting scientific research and fostering science education.
Associate Professor of Biology Melanie Lee-Brown was elected the organization’s president for 2011-12. Assistant Professor of Biology Michele Malotky was elected co-director of the Collegiate Academy of the N.C. Academy of Sciences (CANCAS) for 2011-16.
The Academy members include individuals from academia, industry, government and all others who support the objectives and goals of the Academy.
