Women's Tennis - Guilford College
Guilford's scheduled Feb. 7 season opener with NCAA Division I Winston-Salem State has been postponed indefinitely due to bad weather and court conditions. The Quakers look to open the 2010 campaign Sunday, Feb. 14 versus visiting crosstown-rival Greensboro College at 1:00 p.m.
The Quakers' tennis team placed five students on the Guilford College Fall Student-Athlete Honor Roll, which is comprised of student-athletes who maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the semester. In addition, one tennis student-athlete earned dean's list recognition. The tennis team's honor roll members are: Nina Bollag, Megan Fair, Jackie Goldberg, Liz Killion and Mary Simpson.
The 2008-09 season marked the start of a new era for Guilford College Tennis as the Quakers played their first season on the newly constructed Dorothy Ragsdale McMichael '37 Centennial Class Courts.
