Pfeiffer Sweeps Tri-Meet With Guilford and Greensboro College
Misenheimer, N.C. (1/25/08) -- Host Pfeiffer University defeated visiting Guilford College and Greensboro College Friday night in a non-conference double dual meet. The Falcons defeated Greensboro, 70-19, and scored a 62-32 win over Guilford. Guilford defeated Greensboro, 56-33.
Guilford freshman Kelsey Albert won the 1650-yard freestyle in a time of 21:28.68, the second-fastest time in school history. Albert placed second in the 500 freestyle in 6:22.24. Guilford's Sarah Stone won the 200 butterfly in 2:30.44, the second-best time in school history.
The Quakers' record stands at 6-4 headed into Wednesday's (1/30) home Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) meet with Emory & Henry College. Pfeiffer improved to 7-3. Greensboro drops to 1-8.
