Guilford placed seventh among 10 teams at the ODAC/Atlantic States Championships Feb. 12-14. Senior Justine Merritt posted the third-fastest 200-yard breaststroke time in school history and finished eighth in the event Feb. 14. She also swam on the Quakers' 400 freestyle relay team that captured seventh place at the meet. Click here for the results.

The Quakers' swimming team placed eight students on the Guilford College Fall Student-Athlete Honor Roll, which is comprised of student-athletes who maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the semester. In addition, five swimming student-athletes earned dean's list recognition. The swimming team's honor roll members are: Kelsey Albert, Rebecca Bacon, Becca Dozier, Luz Martinez, Justine Merritt, Daphne Murphy, Allison Semmler and Sara Waitsman.
