Guilford Places Two On All-ODAC Women's Soccer Team

Greensboro, N.C. (11/7/07) -- Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) women's soccer coaches selected Guilford College's Micki Boulineau and Jada Daniel to its Second Team All-ODAC squad, league officials announced Tuesday.

Micki BoulineauBoulineau finished her senior season leading the team in points with 18 on five goals and eight assists. She scored game-winning goals against Bridgewater College, Eastern Mennonite University, and Sweet Briar College. Boulineau had a three-assist game versus Randolph College and two-assist games versus Sweet Briar and Hollins. She ranks fifth in the ODAC in assists through matches of Nov. 6.

Boulineau played in 85 career matches (with 84 starts) and ranks second in school history with 23 assists and sixth in points with 57. Her 11 assists as a junior ranks second at Guilford and this year's team-leading total stands seventh. As a junior, Boulineau also achieved Second Team All-ODAC honors and had a career-best 25 points on seven goals and 11 assists. She scored seven game-winning goals in her career and helped the Quakers to two conference championship finals.

Jada DanielAn honorable mention All-ODAC pick in 2006, Daniel finished second on the team in scoring with a career-high 16 points on seven goals and two assists. She led the team in scoring versus Maryville with two goals and netted the game-winning goal against Randolph-Macon College. For her career, Daniel has 12 goals, six assists, and 30 points in 25 matches.

Coach Eric Lewis’ Quakers ended the season with a 7-12 record, 7-4 in the ODAC. Guilford closed the campaign with a 2-0 loss to Lynchburg College in the ODAC Tournament quarterfinals. Lewis expects 19 letter winners to return in 2008.
