The Quakers' soccer team placed seven students on the Guilford College Fall Student-Athlete Honor Roll, which is comprised of student-athletes who maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the semester. In addition, three soccer student-athletes earned dean's list recognition. The soccer team's honor roll members are: Sarah Bradburd, Bri Eilman, Caroline Hemeter, Gabrielle Lahowitch, Ellie Taylor, Clara VanKleeck and Lily Wotkyns.

Guilford College sophomore Bri Eilman earned Second Team All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference honors Tuesday, according to a vote of the league's head coaches. Caroline Hemeter also garnered honorable mention All-ODAC laurels in her senior season with the Quakers. Click here for the full release.

Guilford's 2009 season came to a close Oct. 31 with a 2-0 loss at Washington and Lee in the quarterfinals of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Tournament quarterfinals. The Generals scored twice in the second half to avenge a 1-1 draw with Guilford Oct. 24 and advance to the league semifinals. Guilford goalie Kat Adams made seven saves in goal. Coach Eric Lewis' club finished the season with a 7-12-1 overall record.
