Guilford College Women's Soccer
Averett scored midway through the first half and made the goal stand in a 1-0 conference win over visiting Guilford Wednesday afternoon. The Quakers' Amy Baker made five saves in goal.
Guilford meets Bluefield Friday (9/9) in the first game of a tournament hosted by North Carolina Wesleyan College.
