Women's Lacrosse - Guilford College

Guilford had six students honored by the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) women's lacrosse coaches in their postseason awards balloting. Senior Mary Hutchins earned First Team All-ODAC commendation for the second year in a row. Classmate Jordan Clodfelter earned her third consecutive Second Team All-ODAC honor and was joined on the squad by junior Jenn Abelin. Junior Erin Baker joined sophomores Shelly Nogueira and Carrie Ernst as honorable mention all-league picks. Click here for the full release.
Guilford's Athletic Department honored Kelly Gonzalez and Hutchins April 20 in the annual year-end awards ceremony in the Ragan-Brown Field House. Click here for the full release.
Guilford ended the season with a 9-7 overall record, which matched the school standard for victories in a season. The Quakers went 5-3 in conference play and earned their highest seed (4th) for the ODAC Tournament. Guilford's season ended with a 15-14 loss to Randolph-Macon in the league quarterfinals April 23. The Quakers could return as many as 13 letter winners in 2009.
