Women's Basketball - Guilford College

Ann Seufer's three-pointer with 1:21 left gave Guilford a 62-61 lead and the Quakers held on for a 64-61 victory over visiting Bridgewater College Thursday night. Seufer finished with a team-high 15 points. Click here for the game story, video highlights and statistics.
Saturday's (2/6) Senior Day game with Eastern Mennonite University has been postponed until Feb. 14 at 2:00 p.m. due to the weekend's winter weather. Guilford returns to action Tuesday (2/9) at league-rival Lynchburg College. Click here to listen to the Quakers' free audio web cast of the game.
The Quakers' placed seven students on the Guilford College Fall Student-Athlete Honor Roll, which is comprised of student-athletes who maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the semester. In addition, four basketball student-athletes earned dean's list recognition. The basketball team's honor roll members are: Ann Seufer, Joclyn Terry, Morgan Weeks, Jasmine Wood, Shelly Barker, Lauren LeFevers and Alexa Williams.
A great crowd, great basketball and fake moustaches made Guilford's Stache Day a success Jan. 16. The Quakers' men and women entertained league-rival Virginia Wesleyan and fans put on faux mouth sweaters in honor of men's basketball coach and athletic director Tom Palombo's moustache.
