Miller Earns Honorable Mention All-ODAC
Greensboro, N.C. (11-5-07) -- Guilford College freshman Anna Miller received honorable mention All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) volleyball recognition Monday. Selections were made by the league's head coaches.
Miller, an outside hitter, played in all of the Quakers' 27 matches and led the team in kills (257), service aces (38) and points (301). She also finished second on the team in digs (276) and digs per game (2.82). Miller had a .861 service reception percentage, which ranked fifth on the team. Her best game was against Randolph College September 12 where she had 24 kills, 19 digs and four service aces. Miller had 10 or more kills on 13 occasions and had 10 or more digs 15 times. She led the team in kills eight times and in digs five times.
Second-year head coach Emily Hayes' Quakers finished the season with a 7-20 record, 1-9 in the ODAC. Hayes expects nine of her 11 student-athletes back in the fall of 2008.
