Guilford's Loeffler Lands Volleyball Honor

Kaci LoefflerGreensboro, N.C. (11/8/06) -- Guilford College sophomore Kaci Loeffler received honorable mention All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) recognition Wednesday.

Loeffler, the team's libero, played in all of the Quakers' 28 matches and led the team in digs (398) and digs per game (4.28), which both rank fourth in Guilford history. She stands eighth among the ODAC's digs per game leaders. Loeffler had a .919 service reception percentage, which led the team and ranks fourth in Guilford's history. Her best game was against Ferrum College October 5 where she had 22 digs, eight kills, and one service ace. Loeffler had 16 or more digs on 14 occasions and led the team in digs 20 times. She had a career-high 28 pickups against Chowan College, which stands 13th in Guilford's history.

First-year head coach Emily Hayes' Quakers finished the season with a 3-25 record, 0-10 in the ODAC. Hayes of all 10 student-athletes back in the fall of 2007.
