The Quakers' volleyball team placed seven students on the Guilford College Fall Student-Athlete Honor Roll, which is comprised of student-athletes who maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the semester. In addition, two volleyball student-athletes earned dean's list recognition. The volleyball team's honor roll members are: Stephanie Blankenship, Kate Dailey, Brittany Freeman, Emma Gunn, Courtney Kozar, Taylor Phillips and Katharine Weikel.

Guilford wrapped up its best season since 2002 with a 25-23, 25-15, 25-13 loss to top-seeded Randolph-Macon College in the quarterfinals of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Tournament Nov. 6 in Roanoke, Va. Click here for the full release. Click here to follow the 2009 ODAC Tournament.

The Quakers graduate just one senior, Bethany Hawks, from this year's club and could return as many as 12 letter winners for the 2010 campaign.
