Greensboro, NC (4/25/06) -- Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) softball coaches awarded Guilford College's Kelly Guarnieri honorable mention all-conference recognition, the league announced Tuesday. Guarnieri represented the Quakers in the league's postseason awards, which were dominated by ODAC Tournament champion Roanoke, Bridgewater and Lynchburg.
Guarnieri

started all 40 games (23 games in the outfield, 17 at catcher) and led Guilford
with 25 runs scored and 36 hits. Guarnieri also had two homers, a triple

season and she led the team with nine multiple-hit games. Guarnieri
enjoyed one of her best outings in a 15-1 win over Meredith Feb. 25 when she
went 3-3 with a double, triple and three RBIs. She also had three hits,
including her first college homer, in Guilford's 4-0 win at Randolph-Macon March
