Men's Track & Cross Country - Guilford College
Chris Walker participated in Guilford's commencement exercises May 9. He earned his degree in business management and is pictured with head coach Heidi PInkerton.
Guilford will start a modified track and field team that will compete in both indoor and outdoor seasons beginning in 2009-10. Pinkerton, a former UNC Greensboro track and cross country standout, will serve as the Quakers' head track and cross country coach.

Guilford placed seventh among 10 teams at the 2008 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championships. Pinkerton could return as many as six student-athletes in 2009.
