Men's Tennis - Guilford College
Fifth seeded Guilford fell to top seeded Washington and Lee, 9-0, in the semifinals of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Tennis Championships Saturday. Click here for the full results. Click here for the official ODAC Spring Championship website.
Guilford concluded the season with a 10-9 overall record (5-4 ODAC) and won it's first ever ODAC Tournament match. The Quakers lose five seniors from the 2007-08 team to graduation, and expect four letter winners to return in 2008-09.
Dalton L. “Mac” McMichael Jr. and his wife, Susan, have made a gift of over $450,000 to Guilford to support a scholarship fund in memory of Mac’s mother, Dorothy Ragsdale McMichael, and be used toward construction of new tennis courts at the college. Click here for the full release.
