Men's Tennis - Guilford College
Guilford's scheduled Feb. 7 season-opener with NCAA Division I Winston-Salem State University has been postponed indefinitely. The Quakers will open the season at home versus crosstown-rival Greensboro College Feb. 14 at 1:00 p.m.
The Quakers' tennis team placed eight students on the Guilford College Fall Student-Athlete Honor Roll, which is comprised of student-athletes who maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the semester. In addition, four tennis student-athletes earned dean's list recognition. The tennis team's honor roll members are: Andre Arguimbau, Alec Chase, Jody Cox, Billy Dennis, Will Mason-Deese, Ben Nelson, Spencer Ross and Garrett Tanner.
The 2009 season marked the start of a new era for Guilford College Tennis as the Quakers are playing on the newly constructed Dorothy Ragsdale McMichael '37 Centennial Class Courts.
