Men's Soccer Team Falls to Marymount, 3-0
HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. (9/12/09) -- Phillippe Millogo scored all three goals for
Marymount University in the Saints' 3-0 men's soccer win over Guilford
College in Saturday's first day of the Hampden-Sydney College
Invitational. All three goals came off of breakaways.
Carlos Salinas and Cherif Moktefi both assisted on Millogo's first
tally, which gave Marymount a 1-0 halftime lead. Salinas set up the
junior's second goal in the 67th minute and Moktefi had the assist on
the third Marymount goal. Goalie William Brahmstedt made five saves
for his first shutout of the season.
Peter Truitt had two saves in goal for the Quakers (2-2-1).
Guilford concludes tournament play Sunday at noon versus Wesley College.
