Guilford College Men's Soccer

The Quakers' soccer team placed 15 students on the Guilford College Fall Student-Athlete Honor Roll, which is comprised of student-athletes who maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the semester. In addition, six soccer student-athletes earned dean's list recognition. The soccer team's honor roll members are: Layth Awartani, Henry Cordeal, Tom Crowley, Chris Day, Sean Dwyer, Jeff Floyd, Hugh Griffis, Sam Huff, Jake Jacobs, Ryan Joy, Chris Matteo, Amir Moore, Kereith Pinnock, Jonathan Shine and Will Singley.
Guilford College freshmen Ronnie Castellanos and Freddy Gomez earned Second Team All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) soccer recognition Wednesday, according to a vote of the league's head men's soccer coaches. Click here for the full release.
Guilford dropped a 3-0 decision at top-seeded Virginia Wesleyan Oct. 31 in the quarterfinals of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Tournament. The Quakers' Jonathan Shine made seven saves in goal. Click here for the game release, statistics and narration.
Coach Jeff Bateson's Quakers finished the season with an 8-12-1 overall record, the program's most wins since 2004.
