Andy Rowe graduated from Ohio Wesleyan in May, 2003, with a bachelor's degree in government and politics. A two-time United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) honorable mention All-America pick, Rowe helped the Battling Bishops to a 45-14 record in his four seasons and led the midfielders in scoring his last three years. His teams won three North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) titles and reached the NCAA Division III playoffs in 2000 and 2003. He played in the 2003 STX/USILA North-South All-Star Game, netting a goal for the winning South side. Rowe earned First-Team All-NCAC honors in 2002 and 2003 and placed second among the league's goal scorers in 2003. He tallied 100 goals and 24 assists in his career. Rowe tied Ohio Wesleyan's record for goals in a game with a seven-goal outburst in the Bishops' win over Stevens Tech March 12, 2003. He had a career-high 44 goals and eight helpers for a personal-best 52 points as a junior. The St. Louis, MO, native Rowe graduated from Penfield (NY) High School in 1999.

 

Assistant Coach Jake DeColaAssistant Coach Jake DeCola

Jake DeCola graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth in 1995 with a B.F.A. in Sculpture.  There, he led the Corsairs Lacrosse Team as a four-year starter in the goal.  During his playing career, DeCola was given the Coach's Award, named Team MVP, received First Team All League Honors, and posted a nationally ranked save percentage.  After completing the 1995 season as a senior captain, DeCola was invited to play in the North South all-star game, but was unable to participate due to his relocation to Salt Lake City, Utah.  While pursuing a Master's degree in sculpture at the University of Utah, he assisted the Utes (MDIA) for a season as Goalie Coach and organized one of the local men's club teams.  After completing his Master's degree, DeCola was hired as Head Coach of the East High School Lacrosse Program.  There, he transformed the Leopards, a team with a previous 1-11 record, to a successful 8-5 season and the first visit to the state playoffs in school history.  After moving to North Carolina DeCola served as Head Coach at Greensboro Day School, where his team was honored with the 2001 NCISAA Tony Cullen Sportsmanship Award.  Additionally he was the Defensive Coordinator for two seasons at Southeast Guilford (2001 State Champions).  Currently DeCola defends the goal for the Great Atlantic Lacrosse Club, a member of the ALL, and has twice helped GALCO reach the final four tournament.  DeCola grew up on the north shore of Boston, in Beverly, Massachusetts, and graduated from Beverly High School in 1991.

He resides in Greensboro with his wife, Angela, and his infant daughter, Camille.
