Brown (business management), Meriwether (business management), Benson (health sciences and sports medicine) and Sargeant (criminal justice) participated in Guilford's commencement exercises May 9 and earned their degrees in the disciplines listed next to their names.
Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) head men's lacrosse coaches selected Benson to the 2009 Second Team All-ODAC squad, the league office announced May 5. Click here for the full release.
Guilford closed the 2008 season Apr. 25 with a 25-3 setback to seventh-ranked Washington and Lee in the Quakers' ODAC Tournament debut. Guilford finished with a 3-12 record, 1-5 in the ODAC.
