Guilford College rounded out its athletic department staff for the 2010-11 year Thursday with the addition of Nate Bates joins the Quakers as assistant men’s lacrosse coach. Click here for the full release.
Guilford College Director of Athletics Tom Palombo announced the appointment of Tom Carmean as the school’s head men’s lacrosse coach Tuesday. Carmean, the 12th head men’s lacrosse coach in school history, replaces Andrew Rowe, who resigned in April after six seasons. Click here for the full release.
Guilford senior Tyler Zivic collected Second Team All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference recognition as determined by the league's head coaches. Teammate Daniel Dowd was an honorable mention all-conference selection. Click here for the full release.
The Quakers wrapped up the 2010 season with a 3-13 overall record, 1-6 in the ODAC. Guilford graduates only Tyler Zivic and could return as many as 23 letter winners in 2011.
