Guilford alumnus Andrew Biggadike '02 captured his third Carnegie Shield tournament at the Royal Dornoch Golf Club in Scotland Aug. 16. Biggadike, pictured here with his father, Ralph, defeated Ian Rennie to add to the titles he won in 2003 and 2005. Guilford junior Peter Latimer, who won the Carnegie Shield in 2007, advanced to the semifinals of this year's tournament.
Savio Nazareth '03 shot a one-over-par 141, but missed the cut at the Wyndham Championship at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro Aug. 15. He averaged over 309 yards per drive and hit nearly 78 percent of his greens in regulation in his first PGA Tour event. Nazareth, an assistant pro at Starmount Country Club, was a two-time All-American at Guilford and played on the Quakers' 2002 national championship team.
