GUILFORD FOOTBALL ACTION AT ITS BEST - "Take A Kid to the Game"

Advantage of this Opportunity and Take A Kid to the Game (9/10/05)
Greensboro, NC (9/7/05) -- Guilford College is
inviting all area children to attend their upcoming football game, this Saturday
against Methodist College. Children have the opportunity to experience a college
football game as Guilford hosts NCAA Football's eighth annual "Take A Kid to the
Game" (TAKG) program presented by Coca-Cola and sponsored by other Corporate
Champions, Cingular Wireless and Pontiac. Adults will receive a free ticket to
watch the Quakers at the Armfield Athletic Center when accompanied by a child,
aged 14 or younger.
Guilford is one of more than 200 schools across
the nation that are taking part in this campaign focused on allowing youth the
opportunity to attend college football games. The Take A Kid to the Game program
is entering into its tenth year in the promotion of collegiate athletics.
"We look forward to having kids from the
community be apart of our game day experience and support NCAA Football's Take A
Kid to the Game program," Marion Kirby athletic director at Guilford
said. "This event is a great opportunity for children to spend quality time with
a parent or role model while learning about the fundamentals of college football
in a family-oriented atmosphere that is NCAA Football."
Tickets for this special game, will become
available at the Armfield Athletic Center gate beginning as 12:00 p.m. For more

national promotions of NCAA Football, the marketing arm of college football.
