Greensboro College announced the forfeiture of two 2009 football games Nov. 20, including the season-opening Soup Bowl contest with Guilford. As a result of the decision, the Quakers were credited with a victory in the game and officially finished the 2009 campaign with a 4-6 record.

Guilford dropped the 2009 season finale to visiting Emory & Henry Nov. 14, 17-3. The Quakers lost starting quarterback Billy Watkins to an injury in the first quarter. Justin Parker took over under center and rushed for 98 yards. Senior Richie Paul made a game-high 13 tackles. Click here for the game story, statistics and narration.

The Quakers finished the season with a 4-6 overall record, 2-4 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.
