earned First Team All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) honors this
season. the senior led Guilford and ranks seventh in the ODAC with a
career-high 69 tackles (48 solo). topped
the Quakers' tacklers a team-best four times and had three contests with 10 or
more stops, including a personal-best 12-stop effort against Ferrum. he played
cornerback for his whole career before switching to safety midway through 2003
to fill in for the injured starter. led the Quakers with six pass breakups and
recorded his lone interception in the Guilford's win over Methodist. he also
made 10 tackles in the game and garnered the ODAC's Defensive Player of the Week
prize for his efforts. 2002: Honorable mention All-ODAC pick. received the
Golden-Helmet Award for modeling the highest ideals of Guilford football. led
the team in pass deflections for the third straight season. ranked fourth in
tackles. team captain. 2001: Second team All-ODAC honoree. shared
the league's interceptions lead. made four picks inside the Quakers'
five-yard line. made a career-high 11 tackles versus Hampden-Sydney. broke
up a personal-best six passes at Greensboro. 2000:
Guilford's top rookie tackler. ranked second in the league with five
interceptions. named to d3football.com's Team of the Week and the ODAC's
Defensive Player of the Week after a school-record three-interception
performance at Randolph-Macon. also forced a fumble that led to a Quakers'
score in the win. Personal: Has
played junior varsity basketball at Guilford. two-time member of Guilford's
Student-Athlete Honor Roll. rushed for 1,090 yards and 11 TDs as a senior
quarterback at Rose Hill H.S. for Guilford Athletics Hall of Famer Jack
