Guilford kicks off its 104th recorded football season Sept. 4 at 7:00 p.m. in the Armfield Athletic Center against neighboring Greensboro College in the 14th Annual Gate City Soup Bowl. Fans bringing two or more non-perishable food items receive free admission to the city's small-college football rivalry. Premium-seat tickets cost $10, while general admission seats cost $5. Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) head football coaches tabbed Guilford College sixth in the annual preseason poll. Defending league champion Hampden-Sydney College earned three-of-seven first-place votes and the poll’s top spot. Click here for the full release and poll.
