Brooks Haworth '62: Assistant Director of Alumni Relations
Brooks H. Haworth of Greensboro was appointed assistant director of alumni relations at Guilford College Jan. 21. A 1962 graduate of the college, he is retired from Volvo Trucks North America. In his role, Haworth will assist with the promotion and coordination of alumni programming, the development of volunteer networks and the cultivation of gifts. He represents the college to alumni and represent the distinctive alumni point of view to the college.
Haworth was employed as national accounts sales manager with Volvo Trucks North America from 1982-02. He was national accounts manager with Mack Trucks Inc. from 1972-82. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps in 1965. Following graduation from Guilford with a bachelor's degree in history, Haworth has been actively involved with the college as a member of the Alumni Board of Directors and chairman of various alumni events.
