"It was great to reconnect with Guilfordians. We became an extended family for a few days. The guides were great. The food was amazing. The scenery was awesome. The paddling was fun. The only negative is that it had to come to an end."

Alumni Travel

In June 2013, twenty five alumni, faculty, staff and students enjoyed our inaugural summer adventure canoeing down the Green River in Utah. In 2014, we have a surf trip, river canoe/kayak trip, and a bike trip planned.

The focus of the summer Guilford trips are on shorter, lower-cost, more rustic trips designed for action-oriented alumni to travel to exciting locations while remaining connected to Guilford. In short, we will be using 5-star canoes instead of 5-star hotels!

This is an opportunity to continue learning and building community with fellow Guilfordians. These events are open to current students/families, faculty, staff and alumni.

Once you see photos from prior trips, it might entice you to participate in one of our upcoming trips.
