The Center for Continuing Education and Adult Degree Programs

Since 1953, Guilford College has provided transformative educational opportunities for adult students seeking to improve their lives through the pursuit of a bachelor’s degree or certificate of study. With the Triad’s largest number of adult degree programs in North Carolina, Guilford College provides its students with the resources and support they need to succeed in school while continuing their careers and family life. Small class sizes, a supportive faculty and staff, flexible academic schedules and a variety of services tailored specifically to working adults and parents help make this possible.

Teacher Licensure, Post-Baccalaureate and Certificate of Study Programs

Our continuing education program in North Carolina has Certificate of Study options designed for students seeking an organized and well-planned learning experience but do not wish to embark upon a complete bachelor’s degree program. It also appeals to people who have an undergraduate degree in one area and seek to develop and document serious study in one or more additional areas of expertise without pursuing a graduate degree or a second bachelor’s degree.
