Degree Programs

The Center for Continuing Education at Guilford College is the first and longest-running adult degree program in North Carolina. Along with an outstanding academic reputation, the program has a caring and supportive faculty that understands the unique challenges of adult learners. Due in part to the adult-specific services and financial assistance programs offered, the Center for Continuing Education at Guilford College consistently achieves a higher graduation rate for adult learners than most other colleges in the U.S.

What does that mean to you? Our advisers and admissions staff will walk you through whatever questions you have about paying for your education, course requirements, and transferring college credits from other schools. We make it easy for you to stay in college and receive the degree you’ve always wanted.

Class Schedules

Guilford College offers a variety of daytime and evening schedules to accommodate working professionals and parents. Daytime classes are available in several formats, ranging from 75 minutes to three hours in length. Evening classes are available one to two nights per week between 6 p.m. and 10:10 p.m. year round. We also offer some Saturday classes exclusively for adult program students, though not all major programs offer them.
