How to Apply to CCE

Adult students age 23 or older who are new to Guilford, including those transferring from other academic institutions, or who are seeking readmission can apply online at no charge.
Apply Via Mail
Adult students age 23 or older who are new to Guilford College, including those transferring from other academic institutions, can also apply by printing this application form, filling it out completely and mailing it to the address below.
As a service to our applicants, we will pay for and request your transcripts. Complete a printable college transcript request form for each college you’ve attended and a printable high school transcript request form and mail the request form(s) to us at the address below. We will request your transcripts after you submit your application. We require that these forms be mailed to us so that you can sign them. Schools will not release your transcripts without your signature. We only provide this service for institutions within the United States. For all international transcripts, we require a World Education Services, Inc. evaluation. Please note that we do not send for official transcripts during the three weeks prior to a semester.
Adult students age 23 or older who are seeking readmission can also apply by printing this readmission application form, filling it out completely and mailing it to the address below. There is no fee for readmission application. If another college has been attended since the student attended Guilford, an official transcript must also be submitted.

First-Time Admission
Before your application can be considered by the Admission Committee, you must also mail the following to Guilford College.*
- One Transcript Request Form for each college attended
- A Transcript Request Form for high school and/or GED scores, if you are transferring less than 24 credits
An Application Statement may be requested by the Admission Committee after a review of your application and transcripts.
Note: If you are a visiting / transient student, if you require a student visa, or if English is not your native language, there are additional admission requirements. Contact the Center for Continuing Education for details.
