Summer School Policies
Guilford College Summer School
Summer School is considered to be a third term and the same academic standards apply that exist during the regular academic year:
- Students who were academically suspended from the college during the regular terms are not allowed to attend the Guilford College Summer School.
- Students on Academic Probation will be suspended or dismissed if they earn a summer term GPA of below 2.0.
- Successful completion of summer school work may lead to the removal of a student from academic probation.
- Students who are not in academic difficulty may be placed on academic probation, or be subject to academic suspension or dismissal as a result of poor academic performance in the Guilford College Summer School.
